Boulder Dash 5k 2012 Results

On behalf of Lafarge and Northside Hospital-Forsyth, we hope you enjoyed the Boulder Dash 5k course, event venue and post race activities. The event had over 1400 registered runners and it turned out to be a beautiful day for a run from Northside hospital into the Quarry.

Knockout Cancer 5k

We hope you enjoyed the second annual Knock Out Cancer 5k Run/Walk. Coming together to raise money for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. LLS raises money to fund blood cancer research.
-Sam Harp the Overall Male winner, completed the race in 18:33 at a 5:59 pace.
-Alissa Wilke the Overall Female winner, completed the race in 19:43 at a 6:22 pace.

Atlanta Beltline Eastside 10k
Atlanta, GA - December 3, 2011 Race results for the 2011 Beltline Eastside 10k are now available. It was a beautiful day for a run and the 10k had 732 finishers out of 829 entries.
Will Cramer the Overall Male winner, completed the race in 34:24 at a 5:32 pace.
Lina Nguyen the Overall Female winner, completed the race in 40:32 at a 6:32 pace.

Cumming Jingle Jog 5k

Cumming, GA - December 3, 2011 This fun race will start at Cumming Town Center on Marketplace Boulevard, traveling east down Mary Alice Park Road and loop bringing you back to Cumming Town Center.
The Jingle Jog is a chip timed race, with water stops along the way, with a fantastic participant package and a festive event shirt.
It is also a Peachtree Road Race qualifier and proceeds benefit the Forsyth County Community Connection

Cabbagetown Romp and Stomp 5k

Atlanta, GA - November 5, 2011
Thanks for running in the 6th Annual Romp and Stomp 5K. We had 902 registered finishers out of just over 1090 entries.
Andrew Heath, running the 3.1 miles in 15:48 - 5-minute 6 second miles. Allie Schellhammer of Atlanta won the women's field with a 20:01.

Feel free to also give us your thoughts on the run. We've continued to add elements to the race, and much of that is based on your feedback. Some additions to this year's race - including course certification, a starting map to record chip time and a return to higher quality T-shirts - were based on runners' suggestions. Please let us know what we can do to make the 7th annual Romp and Stomp even better.

Cabbagetown Run Club every Thursday
As a side note, for the other 51 weeks of the year, come run Cabbagetown's streets and neighborhoods nearby with the Cabbagetown Run Club. We meet at 7 p.m. every Thursday at Milltown on Carroll Street. Runs are generally 3 to 5 miles with speeds as fast as 7-minute miles and as moderate as 9-to-10.

SO Forsyth 5K for Special Olympics
Cumming, GA - November 5, 2011 - Thank you for participating in the 5th Annual SO Forsyth 5K and Family Fun Run benefiting Forsyth County Special Olympic programs and athletes. We had 321 registered finishers out of 370 entries.
Steve Wilcox, running the 3.1 miles in 17:11. Dixie Brown won the women's field with an 21:36.

Winship Win the Fight 5k
Atlanta, GA - October 15, 2011 Family and friends, runners and walkers, young and old alike will join together to make a difference in the battle against cancer as they enjoy the scenic course through the historic Druid Hills neighborhood.
Participation in the Winship Win the Fight 5K supports advances in cancer research, treatment, and care taking place at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. Faculty and staff will be there running with you or cheering you on. 2011 Chip Timed Results
Racing for Grace
Tucker, GA - October 1, 2011
The 5k/10k race is run through tree-lined residential neighborhoods in the Tucker area.
Peachtree Qualifier and great, fast course! In the Atlanta area, the Middle School and High School St Andrew's Youth Groups cook and serve at the Druid Hills Night Shelter and participate in several hunger and community outreach projects throughout the year. All funds raised through this event will allow us to continue to support causes like these in the future.

This will be a fun event for the whole family. It is a night run. We will have entertainment and food. All pre-registered participants receive a neon shirt. All proceeds for FBC Vidalia Youth Mission trip.
Run for the World 5k

Run with the World! Run for the World! R4TW is a global initiative raising awareness and funds for international and local projects focusing on community development and sports ministry. This 5k race will raise funds locally for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes here in Forsyth and Dawson Counties supporting sports ministry in our public schools and on our community ball fields. Internationally, funds will be raised for OM SportsLink projects serving in 25 countries.

Historic Run the Rails in Buford
Cumming, GA - June 4, 2011
Beautiful run through historic downtown Buford on a mostly flat course with a few rolling hills. The race includes 5K Run, 10K Run, and 2 mile Walk ending with a downhill finish into Bona Allen Park. Awards for 10K and 5K to 1st Overall and Masters.
Abba House Run for Recovery

Cumming, GA - April 30, 2011
The fast and level 5k and 10k courses travel down a tree covered pathway along Big Creek and finishing in the boutique filled streets of Vickery Village. Post race festivities will occur within the comfortable park like common green of Vickery Village. 5920 Post Road, Cumming, Ga 30040. Arrive 45 - 60 minutes early for registration and to catch the shuttle to the starting line.
